App of the Week

Eden is an app where you create worlds.  You have different resources to use to create with - lava, water, wood, glass, 2 kinds of rocks, flowers, grass, dirt, brick, and lots of different color paints.   Worlds are built by choosing a resource and then tapping on the screen where you want that resource to go.  The resource shows up on the screen in a block shape.  You keep adding blocks to build different things like buildings, cars, volcanoes, waterfalls, castles and ships.  If you want to get rid of a block, you tap on the ax and then tap on the block.  You can also destroy things by choosing fire or dynamite.  

There are two sets of worlds you can build.  They are normal and flat.  Normal is like the regular world.  It has hills and trees.  Flat is just a plain old flat surface.  You can keep going straight forever.

In the app's main menu, you can click on a button to view other peoples creations.  My favorite creation is Dawn of Olymp.  This world is made out of lots of different resource blocks.  The creator made buildings, cars, sinking ships and underground secret passageways.  There's also a moat that goes around the world.

I like the app Eden and would give it a 5 star rating.  

PS - There are also little animals that you can capture and play with.
